Safety Standards
Last updated: September 2026
How we expect the Services to be used safely. These Standards sit with the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1 Purpose of these Standards
SihatAI is a wellness and information app. These Standards reduce foreseeable harm from misuse, over-reliance on AI, and unlawful conduct. They are part of your contract with us. Breach may lead to suspension or a report to the authorities where the law requires or permits.
They do not turn SihatAI into a hospital, a 999 service, or a licensed counselling hotline.
2 Emergencies — do not use the app
If you or someone near you may be in immediate danger, call 999 (Malaysia’s unified emergency number) or go to the nearest emergency department. Examples include chest pain, signs of stroke, severe breathing difficulty, uncontrolled bleeding, poisoning, a seizure that does not stop, or an imminent attempt to harm yourself or others.
For non-emergency social support, the Government operates Talian Kasih 15999. For mental-health distress that is not an immediate emergency, contact a registered medical practitioner or a recognised support service. In-app journals and AI plans are not crisis counselling.
Do not wait for an AI reply, a push notification, or an email from us in an emergency. We do not monitor the app in real time for medical crises.
3 Clinical boundary (Malaysian health law)
You must not treat SihatAI as:
- a consultation with a person registered under the Medical Act 1971 (Act 50);
- a private healthcare facility under the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 (Act 586);
- a medical device intended for diagnosis or treatment under the Medical Device Act 2012 (Act 737);
- a laboratory certificate or a prescription.
Do not start, stop, or change prescription medicine, insulin, or other treatment because of an AI sentence. Do not skip a scheduled appointment because a scan “looked fine”.
Food-label and meal numbers are estimates. They are not an analysis under the Food Act 1983 (Act 281). If you have a severe food allergy, verify the physical pack and manufacturer information yourself.
4 Age and vulnerable users
Accounts are for persons aged 18 or above (Age of Majority Act 1971), unless a parent or legal guardian accepts the Terms and controls the account. Do not create an account for a child to use unsupervised.
If you use SihatAI to help an elderly parent or a person who lacks capacity, you must have lawful authority (for example as a guardian or with their informed consent). Do not covertly collect another adult’s health data.
5 Accuracy of what you enter
AI and charts only see what you (or a permitted device sync) send. Enter readings from devices you trust, with the correct units. Do not invent vitals to “test” the AI in a way that you might later confuse with real records.
If a cuff, glucometer, or pulse oximeter disagrees with how you feel, follow the device instructions and a registered practitioner — not the app graph.
6 Photos, labels, and medical files
- Photograph your meal or the product label in front of you. Do not photograph other people in a changing room, clinic, or private home without their consent.
- Upload only medical reports you are allowed to possess. Uploading someone else’s report without authority may breach the PDPA and, in some cases, professional or employment confidentiality.
- Do not upload images that are obscene, that exploit a child, or that are intended to harass. Such content may be an offence under the Penal Code (Act 574), the Child Act 2001 (Act 611), and the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (Act 588).
- We may delete files that we reasonably believe are unlawful or uploaded without rights, and we may keep a minimal record of the action for security.
7 AI safety rules for you
- Read the full output. Do not skim a heading and change treatment.
- If two features contradict each other (for example meal calories vs label scan), treat both as uncertain.
- Do not copy AI text into a workplace, school, or court document as if it were a doctor’s letter.
- Do not use SihatAI to generate advice for the public, patients, or customers as a substitute for a licence you do not have.
- Do not attempt to jailbreak prompts to obtain instructions for self-harm, for committing an offence, or for making a dangerous substance. We may log and report such attempts where the law allows.
8 Credits, payments, and financial safety
Credits are not cash. Do not buy Credits for another person in return for a promise of medical treatment. Do not share your login so others can spend your paid Credits.
Only complete CHIP checkout on the official payment page. We will never ask for your full card number, CVV, or OTP by email or WhatsApp. If someone claiming to be SihatAI does so, it is a scam — do not pay them, and tell us.
Chargebacks and payment disputes must follow CHIP and your bank’s process. We investigate duplicate captures as stated in the Terms.
9 Other people and sharing
If a family or caregiver view exists, enable it only with the other person’s consent. Do not screenshot another user’s health screen and post it on social media.
Defamatory or threatening messages about another person, including staff, may engage the Defamation Act 1957 (Act 286) and the Penal Code. Use Contact Us for complaints instead of public false statements of fact.
10 Prohibited harmful conduct
In addition to the Terms, you must not:
- try to access another account or our servers without authority (Computer Crimes Act 1997 (Act 563));
- farm Credits with bots or fake accounts;
- upload malware;
- use the Services to advertise unregistered medicines or miracle cures in breach of medicines and trade-description law;
- threaten staff or other users;
- use another person’s identity to register.
We may preserve logs and cooperate with a lawful police or regulator request.
11 Account and device security
- Use a unique password. Do not reuse the password from your email or bank.
- Keep the official app updated from the App Store or Google Play.
- Lock your phone. Health screens can be visible if a device is unlocked.
- Log out on a shared or borrowed device.
- Revoke Health Connect / health-platform permissions in system settings if you stop using sync.
12 How to report a safety issue
Report immediately if:
- you see another person’s medical file in your account;
- you did not make a CHIP payment that appears on your statement;
- you received a phishing message using the SihatAI name;
- the app tells you to do something that would ignore emergency care (treat that as a defect — call 999 if you are in danger, then tell us).
Contact: support@senangapps.com or Contact Us. Include your registered email, time (Malaysia), and a screenshot that does not expose more health data than needed.
These Standards do not create a duty of clinical care. They describe how a reasonably careful user should treat a wellness app, and how we respond to abuse, under Malaysian law.
